Welcome and thanks for stopping by.
My name is Nuria and I am a 25 years old soon-to-be teacher from Zurich, Switzerland.
I live in a beautiful flat with my annoyingly awesome boyfriend where I manage to kill off pretty much every single plant we own. Apparently they need water. 🙂
The favourite part of our flat is my book wall. You can make me do pretty much everything if you promise me a book at the end. Stories have always fascinated me and so I wrote my first book at 13. It was all about cute boys and annoying parents.
Fast forward a couple of years to 2012 and my uni days. For reasons I cannot remember, I decided to set up my first blog and have been in love with blogging ever since. I loved the fact that my blog was the corner of the internet that belonged only to me and my thoughts. Sadly, consistency isn’t my strong suit and so I never really got anywhere.
But despite my inconsistency, I never could quite get it out of my head, which brings us to today.
UnwrappedDreams still is my corner of the internet to share my stories with you. I am your normal 25 years old woman, who probably struggles with much the same things as you do. So if you would like to stick around for a while and see where this journey takes us, I’d be more than happy.
To counter my inconsistent character, I made myself a schedule and will be posting two times a week. On Sunday mornings you can always expect some kind of bookish post. Whether that’d be a book review, a how I organize my bookshelf or any other form of bookish ramblings, you’ll have to see for yourself. On Thrusdays, however, you might also encounter the odd travel post as I love discovering new places whenever I have the time or the money. In addition to that, there might occasionally be a Tuesday post as well. But that will be a surprise. 🙂
If you want to get to know me even better and have about an hour worth of time, head over to my Introducing Me post. It certainly is full of things no one really wants to know about me. 🙂
I’m fairly active over on Twitter and Instagram and occasionally appear on Facebook and Pinterest. If you are on either of these social platforms, I would love to get to know you better so please come and say hi.
